Salamanca Market May 31 & June 7 2014

Good news! Pansy, Fern & April little dolls will again be available at Salamanca Market in Hobart for the next 2 Saturdays! Yes, the City Council in its wisdom is allowing stallholders in both casual pools to book for 2 weeks at a time at the moment.I will be attending for both weeks in the same position- site #282 which is a centre aisle site just near the Salamanca Arts Centre. So you can pop in, check out the current exhibitions at the Arts Centre, and stock up on my lovely little dolls! I will be working on some more wallhangings and free standing soft sculptures this week. The wallhangings feature appliqued and embroidered features as well as my lovely little dolls of course! The sculptures feature trees plus well known storybook characters. Both make great special gifts for small loved ones in your life! See you next Saturday!... and the one after!
Red Riding Hood Wallhanging - $125.00

Little Miss Muffet (on her tuffet!) Look out for the scary spider!  - $45.00

Salamanca Market May 24 2014 & coming event!

Pansy, Fern & April dolls will be available at Salamanca Market in Hobart next Saturday- but I can't tell you where I will be! This is not because I am being secretive but because I am on the waiting list and won't find out my stall position until I am allocated one on the day. See you there come rain, hail or shine- or all three at once as is inclined to happen in Hobart! An exciting event that I will be having a stall at is coming soon.- 'The 2014 Miniature Extravaganza' will be held on the 28th and 29th June in The Long Gallery at the Salamanca Arts Centre in Salamanca Place Hobart. There will be lots of miniature displays (bring your magnifying glass!) and lots of lovely (little) things to buy including my lovely little dolls. The Miniature Enthusiasts of Tasmania group runs the event and donates the proceeds to charity. This year the money goes to 'Freedom Wheels' a Tasmanian group catering for children with a disability, some of whom have never ridden a bike before. They provide bikes and adapt bikes to suit disabled kids. How fantastic! So come to the Extravaganza at the end of June and have a lovely time and help the 'Freedom Wheels' people help the kids. See you this Saturday at Salamanca Market and remember if you can't get there you can also order my lovely little dolls at There are some also in stock at 'The Wilderness Society' shop at 33 Salamanca Place too.
See you at the Extravaganza!

Salamanca Market May 17 2014

Good news! Pansy, Fern & April dolls will again be in attendance at Salamanca Market next Saturday! I will be in site #265 which is a centre aisle site near the silo end of the market. I should be well stocked this week as I couldn't attend last week due to my unwell back. I think we can blame my darling little dogs for this as my back problems reappeared directly after a brisk walk in rather cool temperatures here in New Norfolk! I tried to tell them it was too cold to go walking but they wouldn't take my advice. Oh well we are all well exercised if a bit stiff in spots! Come and see me at Salamanca Market next Saturday but rug up well and remember, beware of little dogs who tell you it's never too cold for a walk!

Lottie loves walkies! (so do I!)

Update for May 10 2014 Market

Sorry, but I will not be at Salamanca Market this week as I have injured my back! What a nuisance! Hopefully with lots of rest and hot water bottles applied I'll be all better by next week! See you then!
Curse that blasted back!

Salamanca Market May 10

Pansy, Fern & April Dolls will again be available at Salamanca Market in Hobart this Saturday. Come by and see me in my lovely little marquee and see which dolls I have for you this week! I will be in site #269 this week- at the silo end of the market in the centre aisle. Remember you can order a special set of dolls house people from me if you like! I've made lots of custom sets for people. Imagine having tiny versions of your own family in your dolls' house!! The best way to do this is through my etsy website. Simply look at and find the 'Your Family' listing. It tells you here how to order- just contact me through there and let me know what you'd like to order and I will send you a quote. Then when they are made I will do a special listing on etsy for you so you can see them before you purchase! Here's some pictures of some families I've already done!
